Do you taste tin in canned goods?

I do on occasion, seems to be more prevalent in some things more than others. A can of chili I opened a few months ago was pretty bad, was still in date but left a bad metallic taste in my mouth, another was a can of corn I opened last week was also still in date but towards the end, also noticed it on canned salmon

never tasted it in tuna or spam and am curious if some foods are more prone to it than others

Rustproofing / oil undercoating and mice

Live in Vermont at a 2500’ elevation winters are difficult at best have a fleet of trucks trailers etc my usual plan is using 3/4 waste oil and 1/4 diesel fuel and that works pretty well extremely messy I buy lotsa canvas drop cloths to lay down for dripping and burn the drop cloths once all done. Mice are always a pain in the ash but this year mice are terrible. I don’t want any cats Tried all the tips everyone has given me. Dryer sheets. Nope they nest in the Irish spring soap…

Hypothermia can kill in hours, or even minutes in water. One way to stave it off is to keep moving, to generate body heat. But you must avoid generating sweat!

We lose heat in several ways depending on circumstances:

1. Infrared (thermal) radiation
2. Convection
3. Evaporation
4. Conduction
5. Wind chill
6. Getting wet

1. Normally, most body heat loss, I believe, is infrared…
