I bit the bullet… and regretted it

I know, survival is about being able to fix thing oneself, and I did okay with my Honda eu-2000i's until now. Changed the pull cord, the carburetor, yadda yadda. But now when it came to cylinder fixin', I decided to take the unit to the local shop of a big national chain with 500 locations, headquartered in Georgia.
Boy, did I regretted it ever. I dropped off a running eu2000i that runs just smokes intermittently, paid a $100 deposit for them to see if it can be remedied for a few hun, and…
