Well, if you're going to be stupid, you'd better be tough. Last Monday, while attempting to get pics of hail damage for the insurance company, I fell off a 4' retaining wall.
Relying on my cat like reflexes, I was able to land squarely on my head, breaking the C1 vertebrae. That's right, I broke my neck.
No paralysis, a clean break that stayed in place. Sore as all get out, a lot of scrapes and lumps, but still here. Here's what the next month or so is looking like;
