Any Canik owners out there? What’s your verdict, Good or bad?

I recently purchased a Canik METE MC9L (long grip) and wrote a preliminary review (https://www.survivalistboards.com/t…s/canik-mete-mc9l-first-look-i-might-just-be-selling-my-glocks.1006774/#replies)

I was surprised that no other Canik owners chimed in.
Anyone here have a Canik pistol or are a former Canik owner?

Turkey breast

My dad used to grab the turkey leg, personally I never liked it because of the huge tendons, I like dark meat thighs though. But last turkey I had was just a roast breast and I've got another in the freezer I want to use up. Way easy to cut up. People like white meat better in general. Smaller size more appropriate for smaller family than whole turkey. Easier to defrost properly. All in all a turkey breast is easier and better for a small family. I do miss mass amounts of leftovers but easy…

What America might look like if it went back to medievalism.

This is a very well thought out (IMO) video of how America might look if restricted to medieval technology.

Although not strictly prepper related, I think there is a large amount of overlap and at least good thought experiment.

This takes into account things like water supply, genetics, culture, transportation, etc, applied as successive filters over an existing map I think the process works pretty well for creating a plausible breakdown.

TV Usage During Power Outage ?

Hi,

Would like to hear about options to have TV available during power outages. Thinking about outages for a day or two.

For example, would a portable power station be a way to power TV and cable TV modem and cable TV box connected to TV?

Anyone try those portable TVs that receive TV stations with antenna? (understand won't get cable TV stations)

Any other options?

Greatly appreciate any and all input.

Thanks,

Mark
