Is Fluoride in the water supply good or bad?

I've heard many various reports. Who knows what to believe anymore?

I filter my water through an Aquarain, then through a Zerowater. As tested, there is no fluoride, chlorine, or anything else that concerns me.

I'm curious if anyone else is concerned about this, or has any credible evidence, one way or the other.

Need cooking oil advice: food allergies

I am allergic to nuts and I have severe migraines when I have coconut so likely something there too.

I am cooking more from scratch to control what I'm eating.

I currently have a decent bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I also use butter sometimes for sauteing.

As I said I can't do nut oils or coconut. What are some good basic affordable oils that won't destroy my health? I hear horrible things about the seed oils. But maybe they're not that bad?

Thank you.

Starlink for remote locations?

The Helene disaster was a wake up call for many here. My in-laws farm is my BOL and that of my longterm buddies and our families, but it is very remote with no cell coverage at all. It has a landline and everyone uses FRS short range radios to communicate with each other on the property.

Recently several of them took thier equipment down to help out rebuilding roads and access in WNC after the Helene disaster. When they returned they started a discussion about how our communication issue at…

Russia to take out the West’s internet?

If you aren't concerned about an internet outage, go research how groceries arrive at your local store. More than one part of that supply chain is completely reliant on the internet. Shoot–even if we wanted to transact business entirely by phone, nearly everyone uses VoIP nowadays, so that also could go down.

Whether you think the Russians might sever cables, or whether you think the US might sever her own cables and blame Russia, this 19-min video details the importance of this…
