Practical Survival Advice

What is everyone doing to remain physically fit? And what is your main focus (calisthenics, tactical athleticism, bodybuilding, etc.)?

We're considering buying a townhouse or condo in FL. We'd primarily use it during the winter months for extended vacation. We live in NY (upstate) and don't intend to permanently leave anytime in the next few years due to family obligations.

I'm concerned with what we'd do if we had a SHTF scenario while in FL. I'm not talking something localized like a hurricane. I'm talking something more like a grid down scenario or something that was very regional where the entire state needed to…

I'm waiting on a new to me .44 S&W 629-6 Mountain Gun. Why? I have no revolvers and always wanted one. I have a gunsmith manual, looked it over and watched a couple of vids on disassembly/ reassembly- lubing and have the concept down now. Im replacing the stock grips with Hogue Cocobolo cross-hatched grips, Hogue short cylinder lever, Wilson Combat 14# spring group and polishing the internals with Mothers. .44 Mountain Gun MODs

I just won one of these on GB for $225 plus shipping. I have never owned an NAA revolver but looked at a few at the gun shows. I didn't want the tiny little guns that I thought might be hard to shoot so I bought the "Earl" with 3" barrel and bigger stocks. This isn't going to go in my pocket but thought it would make a good hideout gun in my BOB.
