DIY – Grayl UltraPress Titanium Water Filter Cap Leash

I recently got a Grayl Ultrapress Water Filter and so far I am very happy with it except for one small issue… the top cap.

The top cap on all the Grayl filters has no leash or connection to keep it connected to the rest of the filter when you unscrew it to take a drink.
In a stressful survival situation I can see someone losing the top pretty easily. It's small and if you drop it while chugging water you may never find it again out in the woods. Although you can get the Grayl in several…
