I’m watching the documentary called Evacuation on channel 4. It’s the true story of those evacuation Kabul by British plane – from the soldiers who took part and the evacuees.

One evacuee said their bag allowance per person was 9kg so 19.8 Ib. It certainly will effect by BOB bag. That is still pretty heavy to carry.

It also showed the sheer stupidity of some – they literally took suitcases the size of a fridge. Backpacks seemed to be the better option, one can travel a lot quicker.

The “No Plumber Zone”

Was making a new bathroom. Call the plumber and get cleaned out of all the money I hide under my mattress? Or find a better way?

No plumber, and no copper/brass pipes or fittings. And no chatting about why the world is the way it is…. you have to keep them entertained too…. none of that.

The solution… at a fraction of the cost. Everything PVC. Experiment and play with it like you are playing with a Meccano/Erector Set until it feels right. Then clamp it onto the wall. Job done.
