1976 Dodge Colt….

Anyone know where i might be able to get a 1976 Dodge Colt.

I had one and drove that nice little car all over the country when I was in the Navy.

It has points and plugs. Meaning it will be better resistant to EMP like modern vehicles.
It was also very good on the gas.

It seems the price of today's firearm is the price of yesterday's used car, so what the heck.

I thought i might as well ask here in case someone might know where to look for one.

You would not believe how much truck…

Tires..Anyone Notice More Wet Road Slippage Than Used To Be

I put 25k+ miles on the company truck per year. And since approx a third is back roads, tires are easily replaced every 2 years. Currently running Yokohama Geolander G015's. We've ran these tires (or their pre-G015 AT equivalent) from back when GM made the S10, the previous Rangers, the Colorado's and the current Rangers. So lots of miles on this brand and model of tire. Plus some other brands thrown in the mix over the years.
On my personal truck, I've always ran Michelins until I bought…

Thinking of buying a folder for edc

My edc is a rat1 in d2. I like it. Priced one at about $90 Canadian. Still good value. Any competition out there someone is carrying that's similar in performance and pricing. I like the open posts. Easy to rinse. I like the action. Flips open easy. I like the steel D2 keeps an edge but not too hard to sharpen. The size is good. About a 3.5 inch blade. Anything similar I should look at?

.25 restoration…. an interesting project

My friend gave me this to fix. All rusted. No idea what to do with it… will be a great learning project.

First, I need to create a penetrating oil … which I did. Works better than WD-40. Then I need to take it apart as much as I can and put it in some rust removal chemical. I have more than one method for that.

The dude wants me to create a new barrel for this. I told him to get me a .25 button. If he can't, I'll have to make my own button… never did that before.

Anyway…

I might be moving to a huge city

Mrs. Fan's dad passed away recently. Her mom is in her late 70s, and has never lived alone. She won't sell the house she can't afford, and we are terribly worried about her and her very bad hip.

We are seriously considering moving in with her in that big house. She wants us to.

Really mixed emotions about it. Cheap housing and very good paying jobs, so it might be good for the next few years. Just hate cities. Hate them a lot.

Anyone here living like that and it works? What are the…
