What do you all think of the less than lethal launchers?

Seeing the reviews they seem quite impressive.
I understand that killing a dangerous intruder is a permanent fix to a threat, but for those unable to have a fire arm, this might be a viable solution.
I watched a demonstration of a .68 cal ball going through a 5/8" plywood board, and seen those that took a hit from .50 cal rubber balls, and they go down.

m48A stock question.

I acquired an M48A in absolutely pristine condition. it still has cosmoline in the bolt, and I strongly suspect that it's never been fired.
My concern is the stock. It feels rough. Really rough. Should I give it a light sand to clean up the finish, is the rough stock a Yugo thing?

I've seen SKS Yugos that had the same thing going on as far as the stock being rough.

It has survived since the 1950's like it is. Does anyone know how these stocks were finished?

Jackery/solar generators

Up here in the PNW we have been getting more weather related outages. My main concern is freezer/.frig operation. Already have two generators, Champion 6.5KW 220VAC for the well and a Wen 2.0 KW inverter type for everything else. Any personal experience with the Jackery or other mfgr.? Really don't need advice on how it can be done cheaper.

With the average price of a wedding being north of $30k now, and a 2-year wait in my area, it makes sense to me to give it a go.

The wife has a wedding/event planner best friend and she has a waiting list of dozens.

I'm not looking to get rich, but the average event…
