Medical practices no longer used first aid

I remember the first aid class I took in 70s taught by a mortuary who also ran an ambulance service. Hydrogen peroxide was preferred as an antiseptic and the bubbles supposedly lifted out contamination. No longer used unless cut by water 50% because it kills normal cells and delays healing.

Trendelenburg position is supine with legs raised to increase blood to head and prevent shock. Isn't actually effective and has caused swelling near airway and blocked breathing.

Burnt toast scrapings…
